[Fit Tip] This dress has a structured bodice with smocking on the back to provide some stretch. We recommend sizing up 1-2 sizes if you need additional room in the bust. If you don’t need bust room we only recommend sizing up if you prefer a looser fit in the ribcage. 

Kristine's true size is a Small and she wears a Medium- Kristine wears a 32F Bra and requires more room for coverage in the bust. The medium gave her the support.
Carrie's true size is a Medium and she wears a Medium - Carrie is a true medium and wears a medium in this dress. She is not busty but does have a wider ribcage. She still felt like the dress had enough stretch in the smocking to accommodate. 
Hannah's true size is a X-Small-Small and she wears a Small
