About Us

If you’re reading this page, you probably have a few questions for us! You’re probably wondering who the ladies behind Lavender & Lace Boutique are, so allow us to introduce ourselves. We’re Carrie and Kristine; two best friends, business partners, and the owners of this amazing store!

Like all best friends, we spend a lot of our time together and miss each other terribly when apart. We have been best friends for over 25 years and counting.

Working together is the best experience, and although it sometimes feels like a rollercoaster, we wouldn’t trade it for the world. If we aren’t together at work, we are likely texting each other or spending time together. We are always and forever besties first, business partners second.

We share a love for boybands, Disney Princesses, and of course, we have both seen every episode of Friends at least 800 times. Our friendship is weird, silly, and perfect for us.

Lavender & Lace Boutique was an idea brewed up in between laughing, dreaming out loud, and too much wine. (Yes - wine, because no great idea ever started with a salad!) Once we decided on it, we hit the ground running and started the boutique in Carrie’s basement in 2015.

Three years later, we outgrew Carrie’s two basement bedrooms, the basement living space, and the front entrance. We knew it was time to take the leap and move into our first warehouse.

So here we are living this amazing dream, and it blows our minds every. single. day. When we had this little idea, we never imagined it would become what it is today.

But enough about us! We want to leave with a little thank you. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support. You know we do a little happy dance every time we see your name pop up in our orders. Thank you for being a part of this little family we call our LLB Fam. Your support is what makes all of this possible.

We have SO many exciting things planned for the future and can’t wait for you to come along with us.

Hey! It’s me, Carrie!

As the daughter of two entrepreneurs, I always dreamed of owning my own business. I never knew exactly what that business would be, but I always knew I wanted to work for myself, and I feel so blessed that I found my niche with Lavender & Lace!

I am so lucky to come to work every day with my best friend – it really is the best part of the job. A little more about me: I’m a CPA who loves to nerd out over numbers and stats – which means you will often catch me spewing out percentages and numbers in our office. I also love to travel with my husband and little girl. We always have a trip or two on the horizon!

I’m blessed to be the mom of a beautiful (almost) 6-year-old girl and married to the most supportive and amazing husband. He truly understands the demands of owning a business and knows how to support me and help pick up the slack.

I am so unbelievably thankful for every one of you that supports us! Whether you have been with us for a short while or this whole journey, you are the reason I get up every single day to put 110% into our business.

I can’t wait to see what the future holds.

When Carrie asked me if I wanted to open a boutique with her, it was a no brainer. I have a love for fashion and all things pretty. My favorite thing to do growing up was to be creative; I was always painting, drawing, or dressing up our family dogs! Lavender & Lace is the perfect creative outlet for me, and it inspires me to continue to learn and grow.

I am the mom of a beautiful, outgoing little girl and a wife to an incredible man. My husband and daughter are the most amazing people. My husband is so understanding and so proud - he never misses an opportunity to promote LLB!

Alright, a little bit more about me: I am a coffee lover, a Disney lover, and a fan of extremely high messy buns 😉. My personality comes through in my passion for fashion!

To me, our work isn’t really work at all, and I say this because I genuinely love what I do. With the insane hours and busy schedule, working and growing with my best friend is the most amazing gift a girl could ask for.
